A gentle yet challenging, slow paced class that combines the concepts of “Yin yoga” with traditional hatha based yoga postures. In this meditative yoga class, poses are held for longer periods of time in order to stretch and, over time, lengthen the deep connective tissue in the body, strengthen the spine and open the chakra (energy) centers. This practice brings about the reconstruction of the body’s own reserves and is particularly effective for the following conditions: sleep disorder, fatigue, back pain, menstrual and menopausal problems, burnout and stress, diabetes and difficulties in breathing such as asthma or bronchitis.
Restoratives Yoga can be practiced by all people irrespective of their physical conditions and is widely used for therapeutic purposes. A class to enjoy, let go and recharge your batteries. Also ideal during pregnancy.
